Strandhotel Fischland sits in 200,000 square metres of nature reserve with the beach directly in front. Four places you will spend the weekend in.

Main building
Reception, the Fischland Restaurant and the bar. The event room next door holds the Gala Dinner on Saturday and is the wet weather plan for anything outdoors.
FridayPub Quiz
Blockhaus in the dune
Welcome drinks at 19:00, then the dinner buffet with fish and meat, salads, starters and desserts. Ana and Gijo run the Pub Quiz in the same room at 21:00.

Beach and Strandbude
Beach Olympics on the sand on Friday afternoon, beach lunch at the Strandbude on Saturday and the party tent by the water. Beach access runs over the dune.

Pool, sauna world and gym all weekend. Badminton, table tennis and table football on Saturday afternoon. Tennis courts are the one thing not included.

Frequently asked
Boarding is 07:45 to 08:00 at Hussitenstraße 32–33 and the coach departs at 08:00. It cannot wait — fifty-five people are on it. Full details on the Travel page.
Only in exceptional cases and only if you have agreed it with Kate first. We booked a coach for everyone because we want the whole team travelling together. If you do drive, talk to Kate before you book anything — we need accurate coach numbers. Parking and charging are on General Info.
Rooms open at 16:00 on Friday, which is after lunch and after the Beach Olympics have started. Luggage is stored from the moment we arrive, so pack a small day bag with swimwear and sports kit you can reach. Check-out is 11:00 on Sunday. Who you are sharing with is on the Rooms page.
Yes. The hotel is legally required to see an ID card or passport at check-in and there are no exceptions. Without it you cannot check in.
The Saturday night party in the beach tent has a white dress code. Bring one white outfit — smart or casual, your call. The Gala Dinner beforehand is smart but comfortable, since the party starts right after.
Rooms, travel and every meal on the agenda are covered and drinks from the set menu are included. Extra drinks, the minibar, massages, beauty treatments and the tennis courts are yours. We recommend to bring 30 to 50 euros in cash. The full list is on General Info.
You sign up on the spot, most likely on Friday evening. Both are optional and the beach, spa and gym are there instead. Current numbers are on the Activities page.
No. The hotel is open to the public and it is peak season, with families around. Music drops to room volume from 22:00 near the buildings and the party ends at 01:00. That part is not negotiable.
